How CosmicoLab works

Everything about quests, paths, progress, controls and plans — written for whoever you are. Pick your role below and the whole guide changes.

What CosmicoLab is

CosmicoLab is a place where children learn science, coding, maths, robotics, AI and space by doing — not by watching videos. There are 600 quests built from 12,090 interactive steps across 12 subjects, and they grow with a child from their first counting lesson to advanced builds.

🧩
You solve, not scroll
Every step needs an answer, a drag, a build or a line of code before it moves on.
🎯
One idea at a time
Quests are short and focused, so a session fits into real life.
🏅
Progress you can see
Stars, XP, coins and badges turn practice into something worth finishing.
🔒
Grown-ups stay in control
Parents and schools decide which subjects, difficulty and how much time.

Paths, worlds, quests

The whole catalog is organised in one simple shape. There are 6 paths, and every path is also a world — the same thing with a game skin on it.

Path (= World) → Stage (age band) → Quest → Step
Space Exploration (🚀 Space Galaxy) → Ages 6–8 → “Look Up at the Sky” → 20 steps

Quests unlock in order, so nobody lands in something they aren't ready for. Each stage finishes with a bigger capstone project that pulls the stage together.

Accounts & who's who

Different people get different doors. Everyone can browse the catalog without an account.

🚀
Explorer
The learner. Plays quests, earns stars and XP, and has their own dashboard.
💜
Parent / guardian
Creates child profiles, follows progress and sets controls. Doesn't play quests.
🍎
Teacher
Runs classes, assigns quests as homework and tracks the whole group.
🏫
School
Manages staff, a custom catalog, branding and school-wide safety settings.
💡 Young children don't need a login
A child under 13 doesn't get their own email or password. They exist as a profile owned by their parent, and the parent manages everything from the family dashboard.

What's free, what's paid

A complete age-matched starter stage is free forever — a full arc of real quests, from first lesson to a capstone, matched to your explorer's age. Not a demo and not a countdown trial, and no card is needed to play it.
